360 panoramas and virtual tours are becoming ever more popular with the releasing of new and easy to use 360 cameras such as Ricoh Theta S, Kodak PixPro SP360, Nikon KeyMission 360 just to name a few.

You’ve taken your 360 spherical image and now you are looking for ways to embed it into your WordPress site or blog. There are some easy ways to do that:

  1. Use the WP-VR-view, a plugin that allows you to display spherical (360 panoramic) images and 360 videos on WordPress pages, posts, etc. Website visitors will be able to navigate through your panoramas. Smartphone users can use Google cardboard to look through in Virtual reality way.
  2. If you are using the Ricoh Theta S camera, you can easily embed the virtual tour in WordPress by pasting the embed code from Theta360.com site into your post. Create and account or login into your existing one on Theta360.com, upload the image, click on the „Embed” link underneath your panorama and paste it into your text editor in WordPress.
  3. If you don’t want to be dependent on another website to host your spherical images the solution is Google’s VR Views and according to them „VR Views allow you to embed 360 degree VR media into websites on desktop and mobile, and native apps on Android and iOS.” To setup VR Views follow these steps:
    • Download VR views from github
    • Upload the VR Views folder to your wordpress site
    • Prepare your image or video
    • Add the iframe to the Text editor in WordPress
